JEREMIAH 29:11
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
The biggest experience is when I decided to accept Jesus Christ into my life at the age of 16. I was brought up in the church by loving parents that believed training a child up in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. Their parenting led to by far the greatest decision I have ever made and I whole heartedly believe it will be the greatest decision I ever make. I know this because I am not the person I was when I was 16. I'm not even the person I was a year ago. We all can change, I can testify. Everyone’s time to accept Christ into their life is different and there is no time that is too late. When you believe and accept Jesus Christ into your life, that same power that rose Him from the dead lives inside of you! That there is powerful and I am forever grateful that He died for your sins and mine.
I'm not perfect, but I am me. As every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. This is not a story of perfection, but a story of ups, downs, many trials and tribulations. Remember that the mercies of God are new each and every day. He loves you unconditionally. Through all my mistakes God uses them to propel me into His perfect plan for my life. He has guided me every step of the way. He did not promise we would live an easy life. He never said that things would always go our way, but He promises that in every season of brokenness, He would bring us hope, strength, and truth! It rains on everyone. When you stay in faith you have God’s promise that when the storm clears, you will be a victor and you’ll still be standing.
My favorite bible verse… Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future! When Jesus chose His 12 disciples, He didn't choose perfect people. He actually loves imperfect people. Which is how I know He loves me. When I made mistakes, He pursued me and restored me back on the right path. That's the mercy of God. He will use your difficulties to help build your spirituality. He wants to show Himself strong in your life. His everlasting grace to forgive us is true love. My testimony shares the love, the grace, and the goodness of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!
