Psalm 145:13

"Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all generations. The Lord is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does."

After moving across the country and starting my new job, something just didn't seem right. I was not enjoying life. I was not happy mentally with my job, I didn't like the city I was living in, something just kept telling me, you can get through this. It's only one season. The guy that hired me, on my first day told me that he know it's not what I wanted but his goal was the same as mine and that's to get back into the NBA...

I left that weekend to take a continuing education course and the first night I got a call that was more unexpected than I could put into words. The new director for a NBA team called me randomly to gauge my interest in joining his team as an assistant athletic trainer. He told me that my name had come highly recommended. It made me think about a time after church one Sunday I felt called to ask for special prayer at the alter. Previously I had talked to a team and they lead me on to believe a job offer was coming. So I asked the woman to pray for an answer to the job that week. That I felt an answer was coming and "something had to break". She prayed that we don't rush you God, that our timelines are not yours, that my name would be spoken in rooms that are bigger than I could ever imagine. Lord behold my name was being spoken in rooms I had not idea.

With a new sense of energy I began wondering if I would be moving to another city again just after moving and settling in. How my new team would respond, just life in general. I had been experiencing an emotion roller coaster all summer, was this just the next stop on the road. God's word is so true. His promises are yes and amen.
